All essential oils are potent, they are absorbed readily across the blood brain barrier. They will continue to be effective long after the sense of smell has gone. This is because the Olfactory tract, the bodies sense of smell organ continues to be stimulated long after the scent had died away. This releases chemicals in the brain such as endorphins that relieve pain and dopamine that provides the feel good factor.
DO NOT use essential oils direct on to skin on their own, combine with Grapeseed or Sunflower oil for massage or if using in a bath mix with shower gel, full fat milk or oil.
