Give in memory

Remember someone special. Honour their memory and make a difference, so someone facing an illness like cancer can be comfortable and free from pain.

Donate in memory

  • A Living Memories fund is an everlasting online tribute dedicated to someone special who has died. Creating a Living Memories fund is an ongoing way for friends and family to donate in memory of that special person who is no longer with us. You can also share photos, videos, and updates on any event fundraising you are doing in their memory.

The donations given over time will be a shining light for patients and families during their darkest days. It means that people affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses can get care and support, when and where they need it.

Many people find this a place...

  • Your loved one's name can be held as a lasting tribute in the beautiful hospice gardens. A Way to Remember is a solid oak structure supporting panes of glass, upon which are written words that comfort and inspire, making this walkway feel tranquil and safe. Your loved one’s name will be carefully etched onto the glass in a loving act of remembrance.

You’re very welcome to visit A Way to Remember at any time to see your loved one’s name and feel close to them in a moment of reflection. The donation you give to be part of A Way to Remember will mean people facing the end of their life can do so with dignity and comfort.

Ways you can give

How your donations help

Every donation makes a real difference. Thanks to you, life for our patients can be as comfortable, rich and uplifting as time allows. We can be there with a hot cuppa to scoop them up and reassure them and their families during their darkest hours. This is only possible because of you.

Could you Gift Aid your donation?

Have you made a donation in the past 4 years, or plan to donate in the future? If you’re a UK tax payer, Gift Aid can make your donations go further, turning every £1 donated into £1.25, at no cost to you.

Simply fill in the Gift Aid Declaration form and we will be able to claim tax back on your donation.

Family story

"When we were at the hospice all the worry was taken away from us. They looked after me and the boys as much as they looked after my husband. As soon as we arrived it felt like home."
