Following a month of abstinence for many in January, North Devon Hospice are encouraging people to treat themselves with a cholesterol fueled ‘Big Breakfast’ during February and March.
North Devon Hospice has organised many separate gatherings across North Devon and North Cornwall, to get people together and enjoy a full cooked breakfast in return for a donation to the Hospice.
North Devon Hospice’s Events Manager, Gerard said “We all need a good start in the morning and what better way to do this than beginning the day with a cooked breakfast. All proceeds from each of our Big Breakfast events will go directly to the Hospice so that we can continue to care for our patients and their families who are facing the challenges of a life limiting illness across North Devon. Once again this year, we need to raise £4.5 million in charitable income so that we can continue to provide care to our patients. We are grateful once again this year to Phillip Dennis Food Services for kindly sponsoring this year’s Big Breakfast. Events like these all help towards the huge amount of money we need to raise each year.”
Gerard added “I would like to thank all the venues across North Devon and North Cornwall for getting behind the Hospice in this way.
