We are looking for an enthusiastic person to support the hospice by helping to maintain the garden and grounds at our outreach centre, The Longhouse in Holsworthy

Volunteer
Every single one of our volunteers helps us provide outstanding care and support to the community of North Devon who are impacted by a life limiting illness. We really value the time all our volunteers give to us and you will be making a real difference to our patients and their families at their most vulnerable time.
Our gardens are vital for the wellbeing of our patients, staff and visitors.
Tasks such as grass cutting, watering & feeding plants, trees and shrubs, hand weeding, hoeing, staking, deadheading, cutting back, digging over, mulching, and manuring in the flower, shrub and vegetable borders as well as maintaining good access e.g., maintenance of paths, signposting, boundaries, drainage and litter picking.
Cleaning and maintaining garden furniture as well as cleaning and maintenance of the garden shed and equipment and undertaking any other tasks as requested or appropriate within the nature of the role.
