Helping in the shops throughout North Devon
The hospice has a network of charity shops across North Devon, each of which has a dedicated team of volunteers who regularly give up their time to help raise vital funds.
No two days are ever the same in our shops. These stores are a window to the community for North Devon Hospice, helping us to interact with people in communities right across the area, as well as allowing local people to interact with us. Volunteers provide a warm welcome to customers, receive donated stock, man the tills, arrange displays and much more.
There is also a team of volunteers behind the scenes sorting out stock, helping with our eBay shop and a range of other administrative tasks, not to mention the volunteers who go out into the community with our furniture vans to help collect goods. Every role within the shops contributes towards raising essential funds to ensure we can keep providing care and support locally.
